| So it's been busy since JLai's wedding:
Some highlights include:
1. Eastern Europe Trip: Went on a Chinese tour (5 countries in 12 days) of Eastern Europe with my dad's medical school classmates. There were only 3 "kids" on the trip, but I had a surprisingly awesome time with my parents :)

2. Saying good-bye to folks in Chicopee, MA:

3. California Adventure Theme Park - Halloween Fest : I loved all the halloween decorations and seeing everyone dressed up! The Twighlight Zone Tower of Terror was hecka scary! I squealed like a pig! Our goal was to leave the park with as much free candy as possible! IWe succeeded at grabbing 7 lbs. of candy! :)
 
 
4. Taste of Lexus:
We were able to eat tons of delicious food, check out the cars and test
drive them around the parking lot of the Dodger Stadium. They
demonstrated the Lexus LS460's self-parking feature - I like! I test
drove the IS250 and now actually own one as of 1/13/07. Crazy, no? I
shall miss the Camry, but I know it'll be in good hands and hopefully
it'll last another 10 years! As for the new car, I do love the seat warmers
and the keyless entry! I am no longer able to lock my keys in my car/trunk! As
for finding my keys, that's another story.
5. Black Eyed Peas Concert at Staple Center: Philipino! Philipino! Bebot bebot be bebot bebot be! I had a blast at the concert :) ! Frankie J and Ciara opened the concert and I had to say that I loved Ciara's dance moves! Fergie had an impressive concert voice and was able to stay strong the whole concert. Sadly no cameras were allowed so no pictures to document the event!
6. Hsiao Christmas gathering: Our Christmas gathering this year was all about the babies - they were shuffled around and photographed like crazy! Also that same week my younger sister Shirley got engaged! So exciting - first sibling to get hitched (wedding: 9/8/07)!

7. Tournament of Roses: I went to go see the floats from the rose parade and I have to say that I was very impressed by the creativity of the materials used on the floats! The floats were soo bootiful and much better to see up close than on TV.
 
 
 
7. Dallas, TX: Went to Dallas for the first time to celebrate my sister Angela's b-day :) We had some good grub! It was DELICIOUS!! I love steak!!! The highways in Dallas are nicely decorated with stars and stripes and the malls are gorgeous!! They had red-eared slider turtles (reminds me of the poorly treated turtles I owned in college) on display and unique landscaping between stores.

| what's been happening?
brr... it's cold in here, there must be some Toros in the at-mos-phere
my roommate Jessica and I before traipsing around western mass to look at Christmas lights. Jessica is the best! She helps me out a ton, doesn't mind my mess, and even feeds me! What more could you ask for in a roommate?

our family vacation over the holidays was spent at las vegas!
instead of taking walks on Redondo beach with my parents at 7 a.m., we'd take walks through the empty hotels to admire the decor!
